人类在久远之前，由神所派遣的天使创造出来，身为天使的的创造物，受到天使的祝福与关爱，人类社会繁荣起来。然而渐渐地，在长期的繁荣里，人类忘却对于天使与神的崇敬，忘却祈祷与对神与天使的感激，开始傲慢了起来。
人类的傲慢终于激怒了神，忍无可忍的神于是展开天谴。最初的悲剧大约发生在五百年前，神召回所有留在人间的天使，失去秩序的大地瞬间被混沌的洪流所吞没。
